Hi, I’m Amit. I’m a qualified personal trainer (REPs/CIMSPA), a dad, and the person behind AmitTheFitDad. I help people get stronger, fitter and more confident with coaching that can fit around work, family and real life.

Why I started
I know how frustrating the stop-start cycle can be. After 35, my energy dipped, I struggled to stay consistent, and the advice I found often felt like an all-or-nothing choice: strict diets, endless training and no room for a busy week.
As a dad, I wanted to feel good in my clothes, have energy to play with my child and stay healthy for the long run. I learned to make training and food work with my life instead of trying to build my life around a perfect plan.

Part of my own fitness journey. Everyone starts in a different place, and results vary.
How I coach
My approach is practical: a training plan suited to your time and equipment, nutrition guidance without extreme rules, and regular support so we can adjust when life changes. The goal is progress you can keep making, not a perfect week that falls apart as soon as work gets busy.
- Training with purpose: clear, progressive sessions that match your starting point.
- Food that fits: useful habits and flexibility around meals you enjoy.
- Support that adapts: check-ins, feedback and adjustments as you go.
Who I work with
AmitTheFitDad began with busy dads in mind, but women are welcome too. You don’t need to be fit already, and you don’t need to train like an athlete. I’m based in London, coach online, and offer limited in-person personal training by enquiry.
I train seriously myself, but I know your plan has to serve your life. We’ll start with your goals, your schedule and what feels achievable now.
